Biennale Cinema 2024 - Photo Diary - Wall of Scathing Reviews
During the Venice International Film Festival, a wall comes up where people can stick reviews of their films and the best scathing review wins the “Codacons Cup Prize” given out by the festival director Alberto Barbera.
In my four years attending the festival, this wall is one of my highlights. It’s always both amusing and baffling to read people’s reactions to the films, the festival and complaints about anything else, including Alberto Barbera. Nothing seems to get pulled down or censored as far as I can tell, every film, actor, director and even the festival director is fair game.
I had so many photos on my phone, so I decided to create a separate post to show them here.
