CAAD Kino Presents “Earthscape Chronicles" Film Program Curated by Film My Design
American University of Sharjah’s CAAD (College of College of Architecture, Art and Design) is hosting a new film screening program titled CAAD Kino. The first edition is titled “Earthscape Chronicles" and is curated by Film My Design.
The program will include films and talks spread over at 7 days between September 18 and October 12 in Auditorium AD1-102 at the American University of Sharjah and free to attend.
In an age defined by the urgent need for ecological stewardship, the realms of design, architecture, food, materials, and landscapes have become fertile grounds for exploring the themes of sustainability and climate change.
The program embarks on a captivating journey, weaving together narratives that shed light on these pressing issues from diverse perspectives and geographies.
By delving into the stories of individuals and communities, “Earthscape Chronicles” invites conversations that transcend boundaries through thought-provoking films, Q&A sessions, and talks, fostering a deeper understanding of the complex relationship between human activity and the environment.
