FOCAL POINT - Art Book Fair at Sharjah Art Foundation
Sharjah Art Foundation is launching FOCAL POINT, its first art book fair between November 8-10. The three day event will include independent and mainstream presenting their publications individually or within curated sections.
There will also be a programme that is free and open to the public. It includes talks, screenings, a lecture-performance, book launch, art project, an open studio, themed educational workshops and live music. There will also be a symposium on November 10 developed by Asia Art Archive (Hong Kong), marking its first official collaboration in the UAE and GCC region. FOCAL POINT will take place in Bait Obaid Al Shamsi, a heritage building in Sharjah’s Arts Square. Originally built in 1845 as a residential house, the space was renovated in the late 1990s, and then again in 2017, to be used for artist studios and exhibition spaces.

FOCAL POINT is free to attend and open to the public.
