Google Earth Alphabets in Dubai by Christian Alexander
A few months ago I posted a video by Patrick Semaan of his Google Earth Alphabet project which showed you a bird's eye view of Kuwait and landmarks that look like alphabets (which was inspired by theGoogle Maps Typography project by Rhett Dashwood).
The Kuwait video inspired Christian Alexander to make one featuring Dubai.
Inspired by my good friend Patrick Semaan, I decided to do something for Dubai to mark my moving there. I found all the letters using google earth on a 13″ screen so you can imagine what I went through. All in all I really enjoyed working on this, I hope you enjoy the architecture and diversity in Dubai buildings!
