Happy 90th Birthday to Clint Eastwood

The Mule (Clint Eastwood, 2018)

It’s Clint Eastwood 90th birthday today. I’ve had mixed feelings towards him over the years, but since last year, after watching The Mule (twice in cinemas), I have a soft spot for him.
Directed and starring Clint Eastwood, The Mule is funny, delicate and incredibly moving. If you’ve never watched it, track it down.

I have yet to go through his entire filmography (and I’ve still not seen Unforgiven!), but if I can recommend 3 recent films directed by him, they would be:

Richard Jewell (2019)
The Mule (2018)
Sully (2016)
