Missing You by John Waite
This morning, whilst I was having a coffee at my neighbourhood cafe, Missing You by John Waite came on, a song from 1984 and an old time favourite that I have not heard in ages.
Listening to it today, I suppose it would be described as “Dad Rock”, but who cares, it still sounds young and current to me.
And there's a storm that's raging
Through my frozen heart tonightI hear your name in certain circles
And it always makes me smile
I spend my time
Thinking about you
And it's almost driving me wildAnd it's my heart that's breakin'
Down this long distance line tonightI ain't missing you at all (Missing you)
Since you've been gone (Missing you)
Away
I ain't missing you (Missing you)
No matter, what my friends say (Missing you)
