Treasures of the Himalayas at Portfolio Gallery
The Portfolio Gallery opened last year in Al Quoz, Dubai. It has a cozy feeling with a lounge area alongside the exhibition area that includes coffee table books, TV and a pool table - now, that's how to chill at a gallery. The space is dedicated to photography, so I'm interested to see their exhibition line up this year.
Their first exhibiton this year, Treasures of the Himalayas will show work by two Dubai based photographers Ivana Maglione and Lama Kabbani. It tells the story of their incredible expedition they took separately to the Himalayas - Lama travelled to Tibet and Ivana to Bhutan, both led by the same passion: photography.
